FIRE BOATS

National Fire Technologies ( NFT ) along with naval architect. Tad Roberts have designed the most advanced Emergency Response Vessel available in the world today. NFT has spent many years of study and research

The 15m vessel is designed with a Tri-Jet engine configuration and fitted with an advanced electronics package allowing the vessel to be operated with a standard crew of 3 personnel. The wheelhouse above or below, can be custom designed to receive multiple configurations, Search and Rescue recovery area, EOC operations center, Emergency surgical operating room , Military Special ops area.  

The vessel meets all NFPA standards and delivers a secondary water system from 1500-8000 gpm . The vessel can deploy multiple emergency systems which would address forestry or interface fire incidents. The Tri-Jet vessel moves away from the traditional large bulky labour intensive expensive fire boats by allowing very flexible deployment options for the client at a much lower cost.

The NFT Tri-Jet allows Fire Departments to purchase a Fast Response vessel with the same pumping capacities ( 8000 + gpm ) and greater mobility with zero manning costs, compared to the more expensive larger fully manned fire boats which exist today. The Tri-Jet vessel is so versatile that Fire, Police and the City Engineering could develop a plan to establish multiple systems and create a Tri-Service vessel. The vessel could then be used by all three services Police, Fire/Rescue, City Engineering, or Federal, State, Municipal authorities could combine resources and make the vessel a TRI-SERVICE resource.

SECONDARY WATER SYSTEMS

Antiquated municipal water systems, along with large disasters, create real concerns with water being available for use in firefighting and potable water, another concern is the removal of excess water, such as flooding, requires large volumes of water to be moved out of a location ( De-watering ).

National Fire Technologies has designed a Mobile Emergency Deployment Systems which will be deployed for firefighting, potable water incidents and assist engineers with their de-watering operations. NFT custom designs each system to the customers specific requirements based on NFT’s needs analysis report.

NFT incorporates Tri-Jet Fast Attack Fire boat with a combination of mobile Hydro sub units, LDH, portable hydrants, water thieves and hose bridging to allow the safe transport of operational water to travel in excess of a mile inland from any viable water source. NFT offers an extensive MEDS evaluation for our customers; this report will cover all aspects of your emergency preparedness needs .

There has been many changes to the emergency preparedness sector over the past 10 years. The mind set of emergency planners has been to set up emergency corridors for evacuation to a central location. New Orleans and other jurisdictions have learned many valuable lessons that roadways and highways become a parking lot within hours of evacuation notice.

NFT has spent years on studying and research to design the Mobile Emergency Deployment System ( MEDS ) which utilises both water and land to transport all of our customers emergency preparedness needs.

The systems are so versatile they can be used for secondary water delivery (8000 gpm) for firefighting, oil abatement operations ( skimmers, booms ), patient/evacuation operations, interface fire operations, de-watering operations, Police ERT operations, Military operations or multiple combination of systems at the same time. NFT will custom design each system by completing a needs analysis report. This will allow our customers to optimize their operational budgets.

TRAINING MODULES



Training has become a multi level challenge for emergency service personnel. It may be difficult for service providers to have the space and provide a training facility. NFT can offer multi purpose training modules, designed to cover a series of training needs without using a large amount of valuable space. The modules are designed to supply training for multiple or combined configurations.
